The second section of the wheel of knees is the safety section because people are associated with peace and control of the field regarding their life. Everyone has a choice to choose what they think is best for them, which is associated with the individual need in the wheel of needs. The clients must recognize themselves and value their creativity by keeping their freedom and free will in mind. ![]() The coach will help the client to identify their value and boost their self-esteem. The first section of the wheel of knees is the individuality need because it is associated with the self-esteem and value of a person. The wheel of needs has four different sections, which include the following: 1. This is the most important one because it focuses on the need to expand our potential and find purpose. Esteem NeedsĮsteem need is the need to be recognized and valued by others. It’s the need to be part of a community and to have relationships. This one is a need for security and protection from harm. It is our need for food, water, shelter, and rest. The five needs that make up the wheel of needs include the following: Physiological Needs Understanding these categories and how they will help you better understand what drives you and where you might lack fulfillment. It breaks down our needs into five categories and how they relate to one another. The wheel of needs is a tool used to better understand the ways in which our core needs impact our day-to-day lives. ![]() This need is often unmet when we don’t feel comfortable growing and using our full potential. We need to feel capable of reaching our full potential and be aware of how we can use this potential to provide value to those around us. Self-actualization needs are our need to expand our potential and find purpose. This is because they are influenced heavily by the other core needs, making it challenging to recognize when they’re not being met. ![]() We often have the most challenging time recognizing self-actualization needs as unmet.
